This is a simple product that saves a ton of time and effort when spray painting your AR-15 magazines. The V1.0 is 3D printed in the USA by a small parts designer we've partnered with. These are made cheaply enough to not break the bank, but sturdy enough to be used over and over again.
The Mag Masker™ was designed with tight tolerances, meaning most magazines fit snuggly to give you nice crisp lines when spraying. Different magazines may fit slightly different, depending on the brand and type of magazine.

Mag masker works well
I run a Cerakote shop and purchased these to do production work coatings on a run of 90 magazines. We were spraying USGI magazines and some had great tolerance and some were tight. Like any tool its just figuring out how to work with it. The difficult part was finding a process to clean the build-up while continuing the run. I ended up using vinyl tape to mask them so that I could use a rag and acetone to clean the tape. The mags were disassembled so the mags that were tighter I just pulled the mags from the inside of the body and worked them out. Will be ordering more for future runs to spray more at one time.

Mag masker
This thing is awesome! Was able to camo a bunch of mags without ever pulling out the painters tape. Made quick work of painting the mags. The heat gun made quick work of swapping each mag out too. Lol
