Why we like these:
This is the standard A5 spring and buffer kit, and the default buffer weight recommended by VLTOR. We like this kit because it's an easy "one and done" purchase, and gives you everything you need besides the A5 tube for a little bit of a discount.

The SP-A5 Spring and Buffer Kit includes everything you’ll need to outfit your rifle with VLTOR’s patented A5 Buffer System (aside from a compatible A5 Length receiver extension tube).
The SP-A5 Spring and Buffer kit includes:
(1) “A5H2” A5 Buffer
(1) A5 Buffer Spring
(1) Vltor Lockplate
(1) Vltor Castle Nut
The SP-A5 kit is designed for the VLTOR A5 system and is only compatible with other VLTOR A5 products. The SP-A5 spring kit requires the use of an A5 receiver extension tube. The physical dimensions of A5 buffer components are different than that of standard carbine or rifle buffer components. You cannot blend components from the different buffer systems. Doing so may result in injury or damage to your firearm. The A5 Buffer is not compatible with the AR-10 Platform.
