We worked with Esstac to have these custom made just for us, in the MIDLENGTH size, in Ranger Green and now also in Coyote Tan.
Why we like these:
We love removable placards like this for a couple of reasons:
- It makes swapping between gun and plate carrier setups a breeze. Swap between running 5.56, 7.62, or even sub gun mags in a flash with additional placards.
- They give you the ability to remove mag pouches altogether. Maybe you just want to run your plate carrier slick with a battle belt.
And with our exclusive custom placards, you have the option/ability to:
- Run your placard over your cummerbund, and use the loop velcro to attach hook velcro patches or small GP pouches.
- Run your cummerbund over your placard- allowing for very quick fitment adjustments, and keeping your mag pouches tightly secured to your carrier instead of flopping around when running or going prone. This is the main reason we like these.
These work great with plate carriers like the Ferro Slickster, Spiritus Systems LV-119, or the Defensive Mechanisms MEPC.
Also included: female QASM buckles that are necessary in order to attach these to the molle of your plate carrier. Some carriers already have these built in, but others (like the Ferro Slickster) do not. These take just a few seconds to install.
* You'll notice that while the male buckles are coyote brown, the female QASM buckles are a lighter tan. We chose these because this color works with more camo color options (and blends better with ranger green).
