PCT A4 Flat Top Stripped Upper Receivers - THERMAL FIT
We've been really happy with the launch of our PCT Lower receivers, so it's time to add an upper receiver to match! These are stripped upper receivers and will require an upper parts kit to complete them.
We went with a minimalist design on these. No T-Marks, and a very subtle PCT logo on the side.
Specs:
- CNC Machined from 7075-T6 Forging
- Mil-Spec Type 3 Class 2 anodizing
- Dry Film Lube interior
- M4 Feedramps
- Machined with specific tolerances to fit our lower receivers like a glove
- THERMAL FIT - Thermal fit upper receivers are intentionally undersized in manufacturing in order to create a rock solid connection between the upper receiver and the barrel extension in assembly. This requires heating up the receiver to expand the aluminum for installation of the barrel. It is not very difficult, and we will have a video soon on how to do it. We think of thermal fit as falling in-between a standard 'slip fit' upper and a slip fit upper with a bedded barrel.
