Why we like these:
Magpul Back-up Sights (MBUS) are what we always turn to when we just need to get the cheapest irons on our new build ASAP, because we're anxious to get to the range. They are the go-to for affordable quality iron sights and have been for a long time. They're lightweight, tough as hell, and have an awesome and solid spring loaded "flip up" option for quick deployment.
The new MBUS 3 Rear sights are a major improvement over the older version. The rapid-select aperture system is a drastic upgrade over the older style, with an easily flipped lever that (and this is our favorite part) lays flat on the rifle no matter which aperture you have it set to.
We are really impressed with the newest evolution in the MBUS line. These take a lot of the aspects of their 'pro' line of sights and put them into a more affordable package. We are currently offering these in black, FDE, and our favorite color- OD Green. Please note: the OD Green color is very dark. We were honestly having a hard time telling them apart from the black sights.

Significantly reduced in size from the MBUS, it sits at just 0.47” high when folded, 1.38” at its widest point, and weighs a scant 25 grams with hardware. Its aesthetics are derived from the MBUS Pro, but the MBUS 3 Front Sight is constructed of our impact-resistant polymer, making it lightweight and extremely durable. Featuring the same spring-loaded technology as its predecessor, they can be deployed with an ambidextrous push-button.
The MBUS 3 Rear Sight sits at standard AR-height when deployed and includes a windage adjustable, rapid-select aperture system.
