The H3 buffer is definitely on the heavier end of the spectrum. Heavier buffer weights will assist with felt recoil, as well as aid with feeding due to the increased mass. At 5.4oz, it has plenty of mass to help with overgassed rifles.

Couldn't be happier. Very solid construction. Weight was spot on 5.4 oz. 300BO pistol runs like a champ with this buffer. Panther City pricing and service are bar none some of the best around. And I'm not just saying that because they sent a bunch of stickers and a Kit Kat! *Pro tip: Give your wife/girlfriend the Kit-Kat and she won't even care that you bought more gun stuff.
