Why we like these:
We carry Streamlight weapon lights because to us they're the perfect intersection of price and quality. These are incredibly bright and extremely tough.
TLR-1s are used by police nationwide, and are very dependable. There are higher quality lights out there, but if you're not kicking in doors overseas or jumping out of airplanes, these are more than enough for most people. They have momentary and constant on features, along with a strobe function that we really like.
This is a great size light for a full size handgun for home defense or your open carry holster (see photos on Glock 17).
Pro Tip: Wipe a small amount of CLP or chapstick over the lens of the light before heading to the range. Then for cleanup simply wipe off the carbon.
