Why we like these:
These Schmid 2 Stage Nickel Boron triggers are an awesome value and excellent bang for your buck. The 4.5 trigger pull gives you a roughly 2.5lb first stage and then clean 2lb second stage break.
We are big fans of their similar single stage trigger, and this one doesn't disappoint either. You can get extremely fast follow up shots with it, but also use it for controlled distance shooting. We have run this trigger in 2 Gun competitions and loved it.
We have also upgraded these with Sprinco hammer springs for increased reliability, and they come partially assembled to save you some time.
*Note: These may require a small break in period of a few mags. Right out of the gate we had some issues with the trigger not resetting, but once we got a few dozen rounds down range it was 100% good to go. To avoid issues with this, you will need to add grease to the hammer hook and disconnector, which is common for all triggers but especially 2-stage. See photo for reference.
