These triggers are just *chef's kiss.* They have a super crisp break and just feel solid. In our opinion, if you're not looking for a budget option this is the only trigger you should consider. Maybe a bold statement, but we just don't see how you improve much on this design and quality, especially in this price range.

No question, we’re particular about accuracy. Everyone knows that one of the smartest improvements an AR-owner can do to their rifle is a precision trigger upgrade. Everyone also knows that LaRue Tactical has a track-record of doing things right. The LaRue MBT-2S was purposefully designed and manufactured to render the greatest benefits from our legendary line of accurate rifles. The MBT-2S can also replace the stock trigger on any mil-spec AR10/AR15 lower receiver.
Sparing no expense, all major components are precision-machined from S7 Tool Steel. The result of this extra effort is a glass-smooth, hyper-consistent trigger that will satisfy even the most scrupulous competition shooter, but also be overly rugged for the battlefield. The MBT-2S breaks crisply at 4.5 lbs (2.5 lb first stage, 2 lb second stage) and has a smooth and positive reset. Each trigger comes with an additional "heavy" trigger spring that increases the pull weight to 6 lbs.

Good Value
The trigger isn't groundbreaking, it's just a good solid two-stage that doesn't cost much. It has an even take up, and an affirmative wall at the second stage--easy to hang out there knowing you can break the shot when you're ready. Its break isn't the crispiest out there, but it is clean and light and predictable. The reset is very positive with the heavier spring in--tactile, audible, and again, predictable. Wilson Combat and Geissele both make nicer 2-stages, but they're 50-150% more expensive, respectively. Are they 50-150% nicer triggers? Hard to say. The LaRue is good enough to do anything you need to do with it if you can shoot. The value puts it at an easy 4 out of 5 stars. If you're a trigger snob, this won't satisfy you. On a budget, look at Wilson. If money is no issue, look at G$. If you can shoot, and you want to save a hundred bucks to put towards something else, the MBT is just fine.

Is there anyone who doesn’t know about Larue triggers?
The MBT2S is as close as you can get to a Geissele SSA-E at less than half the price. Panther City Tactical had the best price around.

Great trigger
Love this upgrade to my A4 carbine! Allows me to "stack" and release when sight picture is just right. Now I need more for my other rifles. Ill be back, quick shipping too!
